Pastor Charles Antoine Tapp
Pastor Charles Antoine Tapp Pastor Charles Antoine Tapp was born in Evansville, Indiana, but spent the majority of his youth in St. Louis, Missouri. He attended Oakwood College and Andrews University where he received a Bachelors degree in Theology and Accounting and a Masters in Divinity respectively. Over the past 23 years, he has served in the Northeastern, Inter-American Division, South Central and Potomac Conferences of Seventh-day Adventists.

Pastor Tapp's ministry has not been limited to the pulpit. In addition to his pastoral ministry, he has worked in the field of communications as a radio announcer, producer and host of several programs, as an instructor on several Adventists college campuses, has written articles for the denomination's various publications and is a frequent presenter at prayer conferences throughout the United States and abroad.

Currently he serves as the Senior Pastor of the Seabrook SDA Church in Lanham, MD and as an adjunct instructor in the Department of Religion at Columbia Union College in Takoma Park, MD.

Pastor Tapp has been married to the former Maureen Mair for twenty-one years. They have been blessed with three daughters, Maeling, a Junior engineering student at the University of Maryland, Tiffany, a Senior at Takoma Academy and Victoria, an eighth grader at Sligo Elementary. Playing tennis, producing inspirational music and gardening are just a few of the activities that he enjoys.

The passage of scripture that has encouraged Pastor Tapp throughout ministry is Zechariah 4:6, “For it is not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit saith the Lord of Hosts.”
